Digital vs Traditional Drawing

As I am focusing on traditional vs digital technology for my question of research unit, I looked at drawing, as this is a big part of my practice. 

I experimented on Pro Create, the digital drawing programme, using an iPad and apple pen as I thought this would feel more natural than a graphics tablet which I have struggled with in the past. I taught myself different aspects of Pro create and experimented with the different materials on there. I wanted to see if digital drawing would be something that could benefit my practice and help develop my creativity.

As I am looking at mermaids in my main project, I used this research task as a way to start designing my mermaid character.

For a first attempt I think this was ok. I would like to keep practicing to improve my skills in digital drawing and perhaps attend workshops to learn faster. I think having digital drawing as a skill will be beneficial in the future and would help develop my practice.
